Newest Projects

Project: The She Streams

Media: Acrylic Paint

This is my favorite personal painting I've ever done. When I try and squeeze a reason why out of my self, my mind goes blank.

Its just one of those things, I guess. I can see a lot in the imagery, but you might have to look close.

I almost don't want to finish it - for fear of messing it up. This came at a period when I was getting on a roll with acrylic paint. But I got intimidated by what I was doing and backed off.. You really gotta keep the groove going once you slide into it. But, I will finish this, and move onto larger paintings. My goal is to do wall sizes soon..

So this is what I'm doing. Currently I'm siphoning myself between several different projects and mediums. I have a few bits of commission work to get done for some ppl, and my usual illustrating and painting. I plan on making a large illustration piece in the theme of Coast to Coast AM. I love the show and listen to it everyday, plus I know if its of high enough quality they will post it and that will bring my stuff some serious attention.. Outside of that, I'm going to try and get some of my pieces up in a gallery here in Vancouver in the near future, as well as some magazines. Things are picking up. I've begun the rough outline for what will become my first novel (I've started and stopped on several stories but this one has won sway over me), and I'm dabbling in music enough that hopefully by next year this time I can put up a page with a bunch of songs. :) I have my name picked out and everything..

I'll be studying Acting in my spare time away from all other Art. But, I simply cannot not be entrenched with Art at all times.

And that's what keeps me in this dimension.
